Ses débuts : Nick et sa famille habitaient a Jamestown dans l'état de New York. Dans son enfance Nick faisait déja plusieurs petit spectacles pour les fêtes de familles. Il donnait aussi quelques spectacles dans le disco-bar que ses parents possédaient a l'époque. Les clients habitués de cette endroit aimaient bien entendre chanter le petit Nick. Un plus tard, vers l'age de 8 ans, Nick décrocha quelque petit role.Il tourna plusieurs publicité pour differentes compagnie. Par ls uite Nick décrocha un tout petit role dans le film de Tom Burton, Edward scissohands (Edward un main d'argent). Peu de temps après les parents de Nick vendirent leur disco-bar et allat s'intaller à Orlando, en Floride.Nick continuait ses études comme tout les autres enfants de son âge mais en même temps il suivait des cours de chant et d'art dramatique.A 10 ans Nick débuta sur scène dans une il chantat a des spectacles d'avant-match pour une équipe de football, les Buccaneers de Tampa Bay. A 12 ans, il participe a un concours d'amateur qu'il remporte.Il tourne quelque publicité pour Money Store et pour Florida State Lottrey. A 16 ans Nick fais partie du groupe de musique The Backstreet Boys. Groupe qui connaitra un énorme succès durant plusieurs année jusqu'a ce que le groupe prennent une pause. Pendant cette pause Nick ce consacre a un nouveau projet. Son premier, la pièce appellait "The phantom of the opera" (Le fantôme de l'opéra). Après cette pièce, les deux années suivantes, son solo qui sortira en 2002.Il reviendra avec le groupe the Backstreet Boys en 2005 avec un nouvel album. Apres 5 ans d'absence. Le groupe a toujours autant de succès il compte encore des milliers de fans a travers tout le pays.
